At least 15 people, including three firefighters, fell ill inhaling toxic ammonia gas after a leakage in an ice factory in Soarighat area of old Dhaka yesterday night, reports UNB. The leakage took place around 8:27 pm, according to officials at the Fire Service and Civil Defence central control room. On information, 10 firefighting units rushed in and rescued 12 ill workers from inside the factory. They were trying to stop the leakage till filing of this report around 11:20 pm.
