Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) arranged a 3-day practice match for Under-19 cricket team at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) after the end of the three-week-long training programme to trim the preliminary squad from 32 to maximum 24.The match has been started at BKSP since Saturday under the guideline of head coach Abdul Karim Jewel. They will play more practice matches after the Eid vacation either in Khulna or Cox's Bazar. In this regard, AEM Kawser said that they have planned more matches after the Eid vacation.
"We'll shorten the squad from 32 to 24. This shortened squad, splitting into two groups, will play more practice matches amongst them. But the venue has not fixed yet. But it'll be played either Khulna or Cox's Bazar," said Kawser, senior national manager of BCB game development.
