The second phase rehabilitation programme of Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman will start on September 19, just after the Eid vacation.
Mustafiz yet again returned Dhaka from Satkhira to examine the current state of his shoulder. He met with BCB chief physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury after appearing in Dhaka on August 31.
This time the younger pacer will stay in Dhaka for one week before going to Satkhira on Eid vacation on September 8. Dr Debashish Chowdhury said in this regard that they will launch the second phase rehabilitation after the Eid vacation. “Mustafiz’s first phase rehabilitation is going on with just range of motion exercise. The second phase of rehab programme will be kickstarted after the Eid vacation towards September 19,” said Dr Debashish Chowdhury.
Mustafiz had undergone surgery by Veteran shoulder Surgeon Dr Andrew Wallace on his left shoulder injury on August 11 at Bupa Cromwell Hospital in England. He came back home one week after being released from hospital.
