BARISAL: State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday urged the entrepreneurs of Union Digital Centers (UDCs) to make available online necessary information required for the livelihood development of people, reports UNB. “People will be benefited if you disseminate necessary information regarding livelihood using Information and Communication Technology (ICT),” he said. The state minister made the call while visiting a training programme to build info leaders organised by Trinomuler Tathyajanala Programme of ICT Division and Tathyaseba Barta Sangstha (TSB) at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room here. Palak exchanged views with the UDCs entrepreneurs and enquired about the training they (entrepreneurs) are receiving about writing news items, features, outsourcing and e-commerce. Chaired by Gazi Md Saifuzzaman the function was addressed, among others, by local MPs Zebunnessa Afroz and Talukder Md Yunus and TSB Executive Director Dr Aliur Rahman.
