Nishita Barua sings item song for first time

Since 2006, melodious singer Nishita Barua has been dreaming of performing item song for a film. A decade later, that dream of hers has been fulfilled. To the singer’s excitement, she has lent her vocals to an item song titled ‘Discobaj’ for the film ‘Palke Palke’. The song has been penned down by Atique Dalim. DhakaLive has news that the recording of the song has been completed very recently. 

Regarding singing an item song for the very first time in her career, Nishita Barua said, “It was a dream of mine to sing an item song for a film. This was because I always felt that my vocals would fit in perfectly with a film item song. However, I never got that opportunity, until now. Atique Dalim has been very supportive towards me getting the opportunity. The song’s lyrics and tune is so beautiful that I was thoroughly impressed after lending my vocals to it. I hope the listeners and viewers appreciate it.”
Nishita Barua released her album ‘Bondhu Tomay Mone Pore’ back in 2006 and the following year she released her second album ‘Amay Niye Cholo’. Even though she has contemplated her third album, it has yet to be released in the market. However, she has completed several new songs and out of those, she wants to select the best three songs and present it as an album to the listeners. Besides using other lyricists and composers, Nishita Barua herself has penned down and composed the songs for the album.
