Sabbir wishes to see him in white outfit

All-rounder Sabbir Rahman Rumman hogged the limelight with his stroke-making capability what he showcased in the gold-medal match of Bangladesh in the 2010 Asian Games against Afghanistan.

Just four years after that glorious victory, Rumman debuted with T20. He thereafter played so far 23 ODIs and 26 T20Is for Tigers. As of now he is eagerly eying to make his debut in longer version cricket.  Bangladesh will play a full series against England in October just after the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan. So, Sabbir said that he makes him ready to capitalise the chance if he is selected.   
“Each cricketer has a desire to play with white costume. My desire is also to play with the white dress for Bangladesh team,” said Sabbir Rahman. 
“Actually the main chapter of cricket is not shorter version. Test match is everything of a cricketer. I have played one day and Twenty20. But now I’m trying how I can break into the Test squad of Bangladesh,” Rahman told after their practice session.
“I’m preparing myself to play there. So, preparation is going on in full swing. If I get chance to play I will try to capitalise it by my best effort,” he added.
 The 24-year-old said that Afghanistan series has been better for them to take a fine preparation to enter into the full series against England.
“The series against Afghanistan will be better not only for me but also for all the players of the team before the England series. Last nine months we have not played any international match. Afghanistan, who are coming, are better side. They beat us in the last Asia Cup in 2014,” Rajshahi-born lad said.
