A court in Habiganj yesterday transferred the case filed over the killing of four children at Sundratiki village in Bahubal upaizla, to Children Court from the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, reports UNB. District and Session Judge M Atabullah ordered the transfer of the case hearing an appeal filed by the counsel of the plaintiff, said Special Public Prosecutor of the tribunal Abul Hashem Mollah Masum. The court also fixed September 7 to frame charges against the accused of the case. Four schoolboys who had gone missing from Sundrateki village in Bahubal upazila on February 12 were found buried at the village on February 17. Informed by locals, police recovered the bodies of Zakaria Ahmed Shuvo, 8, son of Wahid Miah, his two cousins—Tajel Miah, 10, son of Abdul Aziz, Monir Miah, 7, son of Abdal Miah—and Ismail Hossain, 10, son of Abdul Quadir. On February 17, police arrested Abdul Ali and his son Jewel Miah in connection with the gruesome murder. They were placed on a 10-day remand the following day.
