All credit goes to the young women booters who have been demonstrating convincing display in the ongoing AFC Under-16 qualifying round matches but it is Golam Rabbani Chottan, the coach of the Bangladesh Women football team is the architect who lay out the design to keep up the successful run.
Chottan has been guiding the age group women’s teams for last few years and under his guidance Bangladesh women teams obtaining overwhelming success while the Under-14 team won the SAF Under-14 and the AFC Under-14 regional championships in 2015 and this year (April)) in Nepal and Tajikistan respectively.
The disciples of the Chottan just kept the momentum of their previous success and continued their domination in the ongoing AFC Under-16 qualifying matches when they just overpowered three opponents of the previous matches. They began the campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Iran, one of the favourites of the Group C and did not look behind to demolish Singapore by 5-0 and then downed Kyrgyzstan by 10-0.
Now, Bangladesh left two matches to play while they will take on another favorites in the group Chinese Taipei, with whom Bangladesh will have to fight for the group phase championship.
