Suriaya Parvin’s solo performance at BSA today

Suraiya Parvin, the music secretary of Bangladesh Udichi Shilpigoshthi, will perform in a solo music evening today at 7pm at the Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital’s Segun Bagicha area.
Besides rendering Nazrul Sangeet, Rabindra Sangeet, Gana Sangeet (Peoples’ song), folk and Lalon song, Suriya Parvin will perform a few songs of various genres.
Today’s event will begin with the welcome speech by president of Udhichi Dhaka Mahanagar Sangsad Kazi Mohammad Shish. After the welcome speech, assistant general secretary of Udichi Central Sangsad Sangeeta Imam will read out a brief biography of Suraiya Parvin.
Then, conducted by vice president of Udichi Central Sangsad Belayet Hossain, the musical evening will begin. In between the gaps of the performance, conveying well wishes to Suraiya Parvin, Udichi president Kamal Lohani, Gana Forum president Dr Kamal Hossain, Sammililita Sangskritik Jote Golam Kuddus, advisor of CPB Munjurul Ahsan Khan and general secretary of Udichi Central Sangsad Prabir Sarder, among others, will deliver short speeches.
