Shakib pledges to play best against England

Bangladesh iconic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said that their main target in England series is to triumph the trophy for their team.
“I always try to play better cricket for the team. I this time will try to perform my utmost best for it. Along with that, our main target in England series is to win the trophy for the team,” said Shakib Al Hasan yesterday.
Shakib describes England as the stronger side, stating that they are the best side at home condition.
“England no doubt is stronger side. They have been playing better cricket now. But at home condition we are the best team,” country’s premier all-rounder said during the prize giving ceremony of the “Play with Shakib” initiated by Huawei.
In connection with the observance of the Eid-ul-Fitr , Huawei-the second largest Android smartphone brand-introduced an offer of ‘Play with Shakib’, under which a total of 48 Huawei smartphone purchaser selected for playing a 5-over fun game with Shakib.
The selected players, spitting into six teams, took part in the fun game, where Shakib also performed with bat and bowl with them and distributed gifts amongst the best players after the end of the match.
When asked about the board’s new appointment of Thilan Samaraweera as the batting consultant, Shakib said in this regard that he could help us to do fare well in the next full home series against the stronger English side.
“I think the board will not do anything which could cause harm for us. Hopefully it would be better for us as he has so many records. His experience will be helpful for us especially in sub-continent condition.
About the new bowling coach Courtney Walsh, Magura-born star-cricketer said that he will add dimension to our skills.
“At this level, there is no chance to bring a wholesale change in bowling. Actually his experience will benefit for us. It will add dimension to our skills,” the spinner-turn-batsman thinks.
“It’s a different feeling and experience. They are not professional players but play occasionally. Both we got such kind of chance due to Huawei. It is surely a different experience for both sides,” Shakib said about the fun games with youngsters.
