ACC arrests two Rajuk officials

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday night arrested two officials of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) from Segunbagicha in the city on allegations of being part of a Tk 3.5 crore swindle, reports UNB. The arrestees were identified as Saidur Rahman, Caretaker Engineer of Uttara Apartment project, and Md Monoarul Islam, Executive Engineer of RAJUK. Earlier in the day, Assistant Director of ACC Salam Ali Mollah filed the graft case with Fatullah Police Station of Narayanganj against 12 people for misappropriating Tk 3.46 crore by land acquisition, ACC  public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said.
