Swarna on big screen

Model-turned-actress Sadika Swarna, who was introduced on the small screen through ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ contest in 2009, is going to make her film debut. DhakaLive has news that Swarna will act in a film titled ‘Curse of the Kohinoor’ directed by American expatriate Raghav Murali. Swarna will be seen playing a lead character named Shila in the film. The shooting of the film began from yesterday in Gazipur area, and Sadika Swarna will take part in the shooting from September 4. The award-winning film ‘Anil Bagchir Ekdin’-famed actor Aref Syed will act opposite Swarna in her debut film. Among others, Barada Mithu and Indian actors Rashaan Noor and Tarini Pal will share the screen with Swarna and Aref. Co-producer Sumon Arefin informed though the film is being produced in Urdu, some parts of the film will be shot in Bangladesh. On the other hand, Swarna will be seen appearing in several tele-dramas during the upcoming Eid.
