Saiful Bari Titu, has submitted his resignation letter to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) from the post of deputy to the national head coach yesterday.
Titu, who has been doing the job for last few years as the deputy of the head coach, some times did the duty as the main coach of the national side and also as the head coach of national age group teams for several times.
The former national booter, who is now the head coach of the Arambagh Krira Sangha, citing the reason of his resignation said that for his business with the club football he has to resign from the job.
Titu, who guided Arambagh to win the Federation Cup runners-up trophy and also under him, his team (Arambagh) defeated Abahani Limited (Dhaka) and also outplayed ( in tie breaker) Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, said, “It is not always easy to conduct two teams at the same time.”
Meanwhile, Jakaria Babu, who is not involved with any of the league teams for last three seasons, replaced Titu to work with the head coach Tom Saintfeit ahead of the FIFA international friendly against Maldives and the AFC Cup qualifying play offs against Bhutan.
