RUET admission test Oct 26
RAJSHAHI: Admission test for first year graduate courses in Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) will be held on October 26, a RUET press release said.
All sorts of necessary preparatory works are progressing fast for proper holding of the test. Already, 11 sub-committees headed by Prof Abdus Sobhan, Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty, were constituted. Prospectus and other guidelines will be published in both regional and national dailies shortly.
Those will also be available in www.ruet.ac.bd website, the release added. There will no change in admission test system this year.
Seminar on communication in job interview at BUBT
Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) in partnership with online career portal Chakri.com organised a seminar on communication in job interview at the universitys auditorium yesterday.
AFM Sarwar Kamal, Chairman of the BUBT Trust, was present the seminar as the chief guest while BUBT Vice-Chancellor Md Abu Saleh presided over it. Mohammed Masud Rayhan, Assistant Vice President Senior Manager, Organization Development HR Strategy of The City Bank Ltd, was the keynote speaker at the seminar. AFM Sarwar Kamal said the job seekers must require some techniques and creativities to successfully face the job interview.
Students from different departments of BUBT attended the seminar and gained practical knowledge on various requirements of the job market such as professional CV Writing and skills to face an interview board. Deans of different faculties, registrar, proctor, controller of examinations, joint registrar, chairmen of different departments, teachers, officers and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
Workshop on recitation begins at IU
KUSHTIA: A three day-long workshop on Pure Pronunciation, News Presentation and Reciting began at Islamic University with festivity on Sunday.
The organisation Abritti Abritti organised the workshop with the assistance of English department of the university.
Prof Dr AHM Aktarul Islam, chairman of the department, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest at a class room inside the university central auditorium while the English department Prof Dr Miah Rashiduzzaman, Founder of IU Abritti Abritti Shafiq Mohammad were present as special guests.
Abritti Abritti member Tahmina Tumpa conducted the workshop and Its President Naimul Islam presided while more than one hundred students of various departments of the university participated.
