A mobile court yesterday found date expired seeds at the national tree fairl venue in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area in the capital and fined owners of three nurseries, reports UNB.
The mobile court comprising members from Armed Police Battalion, and Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection found three nurseries, Kashban, Krishibid Upokaron and Hortas have been selling date expired seeds.
It fined the owners, Md Mukul, 42, Hamidul Islam Palash, 37, Morshed Alam, 27, Taka 10,000 each for selling date expired seeds, showing no date of production and expiry of the seeds and it's price list.
