President apprised about JS activities

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury yesterday made a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban, reports UNB. During the meeting, Dr Shirin, also the Chairperson of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, apprised the President of Jatiya Sangsad activities, including development ones. President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting. The President enquired about the treatment of the Speaker. She is now under the supervision of doctors at the National University Hospital Singapore. Secretaries concerned to the President Office were present.
