Obayed Ullah Al Masud joins Sonali Bank as MD

Obayed Ullah Al Masud yesterday joined state-owned Sonali Bank as its managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO), the bank said in a statement yesterday.   

Prior to the new appointment, he was serving the Karmasangsthan Bank as its managing director. He was also deputy managing director of Agrani Bank.
Earlier, the Bank and Financial Institutions Division sent a circular related to the appointment to the Bangladesh Bank and the board of director of Sonali Bank.
