‘All properties of Jamaat to be confiscated’

Minister for Liberation War affairs AKM Mozammel Haque yesterday said the state would be freed from an age-old stigma by banning the politics of Jamaat soon, reports BSS. “Besides, all the properties of Jamaat would be confiscated for distribution among the families of the martyred freedom fighters,” he said. The minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion organised by Sher-e-Bangla Samajik Sangskritik Foundation at the Seminar Hall of the Central Public Library at Shahbag marking the National Mourning Day. Adviser of the Foundation Principal Sujaul Karim Babul presided over the discussion, also addressed, among others, by Poet Kazi Rosy, MP.
