SC rejects Nazmul Huda’s review pleas in graft case

UNB

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court yesterday rejected a petition of former minister Barrister Nazmul Huda seeking review of its earlier order scrapping a High Court order that had acquitted him of graft charges in a case filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC), reports UNB. The Appellate Division bench, led by Chief Justice SK Sinha, passed the order hearing the review petition filed by him, said ACC lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan. On September 7 last year, the Appellate Division scrapped a High Court order that had acquitted former minister Barrister Nazmul Huda of graft charges.
