Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) released the final fixture and schedule of the Bangladesh women’s cricket team’s tour of Ireland yesterday.
As per the itinerary, Bangladesh will take on their Irish counterparts in two T20Is and two one day internationals in September. All the matches will be held at the Bready Cricket Club Ground in Londonderry, Belfast.
The tour has been slightly shortened at the consent of the both cricket board. Earlier, Bangladesh are slated to play three T20Is and three ODIs. All the matches were scheduled to take place at different venues of Dublin and Belfast.
The Eves team will travel to Northern Ireland on September 2. The series will start with Twenty20. The visitors will face-off the Irish side in the T20 internationals on 05 and 06 September followed by the ODIs on September 8 and 10 respectively.
BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury said tour will be an excellent opportunity for the cricketers to test themselves against the fellow World Cup hopefuls.
