Taskin Ahmed hopes to resume the first class cricket if he can obtain the certificate of corrected bowling action from ICC.

The fast bowler who is suspended from the International cricket during the World T20,  is all set to have his bowling action reassessed by the ICC on September 8 in Brisbane. Given the hard work and the certificate from the local coaches and head coach Chandika Hathurusingha, he is quite confident that he could pass the exam successfully.
He said he would restart the first class cricket, which he last played last in February 2013, if his action is proved right.
“I haven’t been playing longer version cricket for the last four years. If I can get free from this problem and play the first class cricket without any problem, I would believe, I am able to play all format of the cricket,” Taskin said yesterday.
Taskin played the last first class match in Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) for Central Zone against North Zone in February, 2013 when he didn’t make his International debut. He thereafter sustained an injury that resisted him from playing the first class cricket.
But the pacer now eyes to make him available in this format also in a bid to play the Test cricket which he earlier said his life long dream.
If he can get free from the suspected bowling action, he may play the BCL, scheduled to be held on September 20.
“I have nothing to say. It is ICC’s decision. I have to take my preparation so that every delivery will be right. I hope that everything will be correct. I have self-confidence that I could bowl all my deliveries correctly,” he said.
He indeed shows his frantic desire to remove the tag of a suspended bowler on his name as soon as possible, stating that he has been working hard in a bid return to the International cricket.
“I’m taking my preparation so I can attend the test accurately. The opinion I got from our local experts are very positive. Even I am also satisfied with my preparation. The rest hinges on Allah,” he revealed.
“No one wants to miss the national team’s series. It’s really a burden for me because I’m banned bowler in international cricket. I want to return to international cricket removing the tag as suspended bowler. Along with that, I’m working hard so I could play the next series.”
He said that he remains unfazed to attend the biomechanic Test and is hopeful of returning to international cricket.
“I feel well after hearing the date of the bowling test. Mental pressure is also there. Although I’ve been taking my preparation, I feel nervous like others before the test. For it I’m taking my mental preparation also,” the 22-year-old pacer said.
“Overall preparation is very good. Hopefully the test will be better and I could make a comeback in international cricket again,” he remains upbeat.
