The online admission process for the first year honours courses of Dhaka University (DU) for 2016-17 academic sessions begins today and will continue till September 7.
DU Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique will inaugurate the admission process at 10am at central admission office of the university today, a DU press release said yesterday.
This year aspirants are required to have GPA 8 for ‘Ka’ unit while GPA 7 for ‘Kha’ unit, GPA 7.5 for ‘Ga’ unit, GPA 6.5 for the ‘Cha’ unit, combining SSC and HSC with the additional subject. According to the decision of the academic committee, admission test of ‘Ka’ unit will be held on October 21, while ‘Kha’ unit on September 23, ‘Ga’ unit on September 30, ‘Gha’ unit on October 28, and ‘Cha’ unit on October 1 (drawing) and September 24(general knowledge).
