Rashid Askari made IU VC

Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari, professor of English department and Dr Selim Toha, Professor of Law and Muslim Jurisprudence department of Islamic University (IU) have been appointed as the new vice chancellor and Treasurer of the Islamic university (IU), according to a gazette notification issued by the education ministry on Sunday.

IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif confirmed the matter and adding that university chancellor also President Advocate M Abdul Hamid appointed Dr Askari as vice-chancellor according to the university act 1980, 10 (1) and Dr Selim Toha as Treasurer according to 1980, 12 (1).
It is mentionable that Professor Dr Haurn-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed as the 12th vice-chancellor of the university.
