Sarika with Chanchal Chy after break

After returning to acting after three years, audience-admired model-actress Sarika has worked in her first project (after the break) with National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury. Sarika, who will remain very busy with the shooting of numerous tele-dramas and telefilms till Eid, has paired up with Chanchal Chowdhury after four years in the tele-drama titled ‘Ekjan Jadukar’. Written by Israfil Babu and directed by Kaushik Sangkar Das, the shooting of the tele-drama was completed last Friday.
While speaking about the subject of the tele-drama, Kaushik Sangkar Das said, “Nowadays, we usually hear that there is no humanity left in this world. But the reality is not like that. Humanity still exists. People still have humanity, but they always do not express it. To tell the truth, we have not become that worse yet. Humanity still exists--I have tried to portray this picture in the tele-drama.” Chanchal Chowdhury said about working in the tele-drama, “I have played four characters in ‘Ekjan Jadukar’. Though the presence of four characters is not for a long time, they are very important. Kaushik Sangkar Das always does all wonderful works; this is yet new effort. Besides, I worked with Sarika after some four years. As an actress, Sarika is amazing. I welcome her return. I think it has become a brilliant work.” Sarika said, “I have not worked under the direction of Kaushik Sangkar Das before. But I always had a fascination towards his works. I felt wonderful to work with him in our first project together. I hope the tele-drama which has a unique story will be admired by the viewers.” ‘Ekjan Jadukar’ will be aired on a satellite TV channel during Eid-ul-Azha.
