Muggers looted Tk five lakh from an outlet of mobile money transfer service operator bKash shooting its employee in the capital’s Baridhara on Saturday morning, reports UNB.
Witnesses said a group of muggers stormed a bKash outlet named ‘Masud Enterprise’ at the J-block in Baridhara around 10:30am.
Then the hoodlums beat up Jahir, 25, an employee of the shop, and shot him, leaving him injured and fled the scene snatching Tk five lakh from the cashbox.
Injured Jahir was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 11:30am, said Sub-inspector Bacchu Miah, in-charge of the DMCH police camp.
