Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam yesterday said the leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami are trying to turn the country into a dysfunctional state by creating anarchy, reports BSS.
He was speaking at a discussion meeting in Savar organised by the local Awami League marking the National Mourning Day and the 41st martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He said when the country is progressing toward development and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the BNP-Jamaat leaders and activists are trying to hinder it by launching attacks at different places.
