Pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman is set to delay his arrival to Bangladesh as he chose to stay some more days in England.
The Cutter Master was supposed to return to Bangladesh today (Friday) but the doctor suggested him spending some days here.
The Fizz, as he is adorably called, underwent a surgery on his left shoulder on August 10 at the BUPA Cromwell Hospital in London. The operation was performed by renowned shoulder surgeon Dr Andrew Wallace.
Meanwhile, the fitness camp of the cricketers ended yesterday with the throwing and catching practice at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The cricketers now will start net session and skill camp on Saturday after which they will play some practice matches amongst them. The practice matches will be held on August 25, September 3 and 5 as the cricketers in the camp will split into two groups to play those matches.
It is learnt that, based on the performance of those matches, the selectors would form the ODI and Test team for the Bangladesh’s upcoming home series against England.
On last July 22, the practice camp of the cricketers started with fitness session. Initially the foreign coaches were not with the team but they joined in the first week of August after which the camp gained the pace.
