Fashion carnival begins in capital

A five-day exhibition of branded clothing, cosmetics and fashion products began at Emmanuell’s Banquet Hall in the capital yesterday, reports UNB.
Over 35 companies are participating in the exhibition titled ‘7th Bangladesh Fashion Carnival 2016’.
Redcarpet365 Ltd organised the event with the theme ‘Do Your Eid Shopping with Us’ which will continue till August 21.
Keeping in mind the recent situation, special security measures are in place for smooth holding of the exhibition, CEO of Redcarpet Ahmed Imtiaz told the news agency.
He said their key purpose centering the exhibition is to showcase quality products to the visitors.
Imitation jewelry, kurtis, salwar kameez and saris have been put on display for the visitors.
Fatema, director (mrketing) of RedCarpet365 Ltd, said the exhibition also has encouraged local manufacturers and producers to export their goods in foreign markets, giving a big boost to the country’s export earnings. The expo will remain open for visitors from 10 am to 9:30 pm.
