Youth Development Department will give a credit of Taka 30 crore to the 7,886 trained youths across the country for making them self-reliant, reports BSS.
Youth Development Department on Monday handed over cheques to the trained youths at the department’s conference room in the city as part of credit programme, said a press release.
The department organised the programme marking the 41st martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman where State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder were present as the chief guest.
Secretary of Youth and Sports Ministry Kazi Akhtar Uddin Ahmed attended as the special guest with Director General of Youth Development Department Anwarul Karim in the chair.
