1 held with Tk 1.5 lakh fake notes

KHULNA:  Detective Branch Police (DB) of KMP arrested a man with Taka 1.5 lakh counterfeit notes during a drive from Labonchara area in the city Monday night, reports BSS.
Assistant Commissioner of DB of KMP Kamrul Islam said based on secret information police arrested Md. Ekramul, 34, son of Yakub Sarder, a resident of Uttar Biddar Baon under Mongla upazila under Bagerhat district, with huge fake notes.
Police sources said the recovered money includes 300 fake notes of Taka 500 denomination each.
A case was filed with Labonchara Police Station in this connection.
