SUST student dies after falling off from fountain

SYLHET: A student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) died after falling off from a fountain in Mirsarai upazila of Chittagong district on Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Animesh Dey, 28, son of Niranjan Dey of Fatikchhari upazila of Chittagong district.
Animesh who along with his friends went to Noyduaria Napitchhara fountain in the upazila in the afternoon slipped down from its slope and died on the spot, said Assistant sub-inspector of Mirsarai Police Station Ahmed.
On information, a team of divers rushed in and recovered the body.
