With so many wicket-keepers competing to stake claim in the national team, Nurul Hasan Sohan gets it tough to cement his place. But the youngster focused on to do his job perfectly, keeping aside those factors as he believed he has a mile to go.
“My target is to improve my game. I just want to compete with myself. What I have, I want to improve that in my own way. Just I give myself a challenge and try to overcome it,” he said while his attention was drawn to the competition with other glovemen.
Sohan is considered as the bright prospect of the country and many believed he would take the place of Mushfiqur Rahim in the national team in future. But lately some wicket-keeper batsmen like Liton Das, Mohammad Mithun and even Shamsur Rahman Shuvo have come to the fore to do his job tough. Liton Das in fact is now considered as the first choice wicket-keeper in Bangladesh Test side.
“I am trying to build my game that way so that I can grab the opportunity if it comes in any version of the cricket,” he replied in short.
