Bangladesh pace sensation Mustafizur Rahman is in the Bupa Cromwell Hospital, situated at the South Kensington area of London after the successful operation on his injured left-shoulder on Thursday. He will be released from the hospital today. He was sent to the hospital cabin after two hours of his operation. He was under the close observation of the surgeon in the next 48 hours. But if he feels pain, the pacer might then be stayed at the hospital on Friday night. Surgeon Dr Andrew Wallace came to visit Mustafizur Rahman at his cabin of the hospital on Friday morning. He is scheduled to visit Mustafiz once again at noon local time. He will not get release from the hospital on Friday if he feels pain before the last meet.
BCB's senior physician Dr Debashish Chowdhury remained beside the younger pacer of Bangladesh in London said, “Mustafiz’s pain is not severe. It still remains at tolerable level. He is sound and quite well.”
“Mustafiz’s physical activities have been started as per the suggestion of Surgeon Wallace. He was being practiced at every two hours,” he also said.
“Getting back the normalcy Mustafiz will need at least three to four months. But much more time to be required for him to be fit for the international cricket,” he added.
The operation was performed by renowned English shoulder surgeon Dr Andrew Wallace on Thursday. The procedure began around 16h00 local time (22h00 BST) and took about an hour to finish. The type-2 SLAP tear has been repaired successfully.
