American comedy ‘Bad Moms’ hits Star Cineplex

‘Bad Moms’ an American comedy film directed and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, is being screened at Basundhara city’s Star Cineplex from Friday.
Produced by Bill Block and Suzanne Todd, the film stars Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Annie Mumolo, Jay Hernandez, Jada Pinkett Smith and Christina Applegate.
The film shows that three overworked and under-appreciated moms are pushed beyond their limits, they ditch their conventional responsibilities for a jolt of long overdue freedom, fun, and comedic self-indulgence. Amy (Mila Kunis) has a great husband, overachieving children, beautiful home and successful career. Unfortunately, she's also overworked, exhausted and ready to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other stressed-out mothers (Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) to get away from daily life and conventional responsibilities. As the gals go wild with their newfound freedom, they set themselves up for the ultimate showdown with PTA queen bee Gwendolyn and her clique of seemingly perfect moms.
‘Bad Moms’ was released in the United States and Canada on July 29, 2016, alongside ‘Jason Bourne’ and ‘Nerve’, and was projected to gross around $25 million in its opening weekend, from 3,215 theaters. It grossed $2.1 million from Thursday night previews. In its opening weekend, the film grossed $23.8 million, finishing 3rd at the box office.
