Shakib Al Hasan returns to Dhaka today after ending his commitment with Jamaica Tallawahs in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
The Bangladesh ace all-rounder is set to join the practice camp that starts July 22, within a couple of days.
Shakib had had a good outing with Jamaica in this CPL as he contributed from the front to lead the side win the title. He had claimed two wickets for 25 in the final which scripted Jamaica’s win over Guyana Warriors. It was Shakib’s first title in CPL while he won two titles with Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. Shakib scored 160 runs at an average of 22.85 while scalped 12 wickets with a measly economical rate of 6.94.
