Direct-to-Home (DTH) service provider "RealVU" has laun-ched electronic programme guide (EPG) that would allow subscribers to set watch plan for multiple channels, said a press statement yesterday.
RealVU EPG provides a preview of "Programme Information" of seven days, so that the subscriber can choose comfortably and plan what to watch next, the statement added.
Country's first DTH service provider RealVU, a joint venture of BEXIMCO and GS Group, has introduced the service in partnership with Gracenote, a provider of the world's largest entertainment metadata, powering billions of devices and entertainment products, apps and services.
Gracenote is the industry standard for music and television metadata, featuring descriptions of more than 180 million tracks and TV listings for 60+ countries, according to a press release of RealVU.
RealVU CEO Dmitry Lapitskiy said "EPG inclusion will give our subscribers the convenience to choose their favorite programmes. As customer care is our utmost priority we are very happy to have this service".
The RealVU EPG technology will provide subscribers the flexibility to choose their favorite TV programme at the press of a button.
