Man arrested with arms, ammunition

Police arrested a man along with arms, ammunition and drugs at Garjantali village in Ramgarh upazila of the district yesterday afternoon.
He was identified as Nurul Alam, 35, of Garjantali village in the same upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Ramgarh police station Muhammad Mainuddin said acting on a tip-off a team of police raided his house at around 2.00pm yesterday and arrested him with an air gun, 12-round of bullets, three machetes, 500 gram of hemp, liquor and two CC cameras.
Nurul Alam has been engaged in criminal activities for long introducing him as a magician, the OC Mainuddin said.
He also cheated peoples by the name of treatments, the OC said. Two separate cases were filed with Ramgarh police station.
