Govt finalises list of online news portals
A list of online media outlets was finalized by the scrutiny committee headed by additional principal information officer yesterday.
The committee has submitted a list of 1859 news web portals to monitor their news feeds, sources with the Information Ministry told The Independent yesterday.
The list includes 1662 online news portal operating independently, 41 portal of registered newspapers, 25 run by radio station and 131portals of TV stations.
