MANIKGANJ: Former state minister of LGRD Zahangir Kabir Nanok, MP, said the government has intensified the relief operation among the people in the flood affected areas across the country, reports BSS.
Zahangir Kabir Nanok said this while distributing relief materials to the flood affected people of char areas of Harirampur upazila of the district.
District Police Administration distributed relief goods among the flood affected people of the remote char areas.
Superintendent of police Mahfuzur Rahman, additional superintendent of police Zakir Hasan and Senior additional superintendent of police of DSB Shahjahan Sheikh were also present.
Besides, Momtaj Begum, MP, also distributed relief goods at different places of the district yesterday.
Meanwhile 7.5 tonnes of rice were distributed among the flood affected people of Shibalaya, Aroya and Teota unions of Shibalaya upazila of the district.
