Minor boy drowns in Moulvibazar

Moulvibazar: A minor boy drowned in a pond at Bhukshimuil village in Kulaura upazila on Tuesday afternoon, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Mahin Ahmed, 7, son of Matiur Rahman, a resident of Bhukshimuil village. He was a student of a kindergarten in the area.
Locals said Mahin went to the mosque of the area to in the morning to take Arabic lesson. At one stage, he slipped into the pond adjacent to the mosque while playing near its bank around 7am. Later, his family members recovered the body from the pond after a frantic search around 4pm.
