All the non-resident envoys are Aashna Wandani Radha Kanhai of Suriname, Sainy Tiemele of Ivory Coast and Pichkun Panha of Cambodia.
Welcoming the ambassadors, the President assured them of overall cooperation in discharging their duties and hoped that they would play their due roles in strengthening the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and their respective countries.
President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meetings.
There are many untapped areas in Bangladesh and those countries, the President said, adding that the bilateral trade will be increased in a large extent if those areas are utilised properly.
Mentioning that Bangladesh now produces high quality pharmaceutical, ceramics and ready-made garment products at a very reasonable price, the President told the envoys that their respective countries can import those products from Bangladesh.
