Brahmanbaria: Two people were killed and four others injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a truck at Bertala on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Sarail upazila yesterday morning, reports UNB.
Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Officer-in-charge of Bishwaroad Highway Police Camp Alamgir Siddik said the accident took place when the Dhaka-bound microbus from Brahmanbaria collided head-on with the truck coming from the opposite direction at about 6:45am, leaving two microbus passengers dead on the spot and four others injured.
The injured were taken to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital, the OC added.
