Housewife murdered in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI: A pregnant housewife was murdered by some unidentified miscreants at her residence at Dangapara village under Kishoriganj upazila of the district on Sunday night, reports BSS.
Police recovered the body of the victim Khaleda Akhter, 28, from her bedroom and found several marks of injury on it. The body was sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Officer-in- charge of Kishoriganj Thana Bajlur Rashid said the miscreants slaughtered the housewife and fled away.The victim, mother of three children, is wife of Ajharul Islam, a madrasa teacher of Jaldhaka upazila of the district.
“We are conducting investigation into the matter,” the OC said.
