Enamul Haque and Rakib Sarker stuck twice apiece as Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club found their winning touch in the JB Bangladesh Premier League football defeating Uttar Baridhara 5-3 at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong yesterday.
Besides Enamul and Rakib, Darboe Landing added one while Collins, Sentu Chandra and Monir Alam scored one goal each for Baridhara. Reigning champions Jamal, who started their campaign with a draw with Arambagh Krira Sangha, shaped the way for a big win taking a 3-1 lead inside half an hour.
Enamul headed home a Linkon right side cross on 18th minute to initiate the scoring. Collins drew level for Baridhara on 21st minute before Darboe Landing regained the lead for Jamal just after a minute. Three minutes later, Rakib opened his account to make it 3-1 from a landing cross.
Baridhara, further reduced the arrear through Sentu Chandra Sen who in a solo effort found the mark on 64th minute (4-2).
Jamal again enlarged the margin on the 75th minute when veteran Enamul scored his second goal pushing from very closer to goal line on a left side cross (5-2). Baridhara reduced the margin again when Monir Alam scored on the 79th minute (5-3).
