Hearing adjourned till August 4

A Dhaka court yesterday adjourned the hearing of Zia Orphanage Trust graft case till August 4, reports BSS. Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar of Special Judge Court-3, situated on the Dhaka Alia Madrasa premises, today set the date as the defence cross-examined 14th, 15th and 16th prosecution witnesses in the case. ACC filed Zia Orphanage Trust graft case against six, including Khaleda Zia and her eldest son, Tarique Rahman, on July 3, 2008. The other accused are former Magura lawmaker Kaji Salimul Haque Kamal, Sharfuddin Ahmed, Dr Kamal Uddin Siddiqui and Mominur Rahman.
