The rate of implementation in 63 projects under the ministry for fisheries and livestock in fiscal 2015-16 is 99 per cent, reports BSS. This information was disclosed at a meeting at the conference room of the ministry to review progress in implementation of the projects, said an official release. The meeting was told that a total of Taka 701.09 crore was allocated against 63 projects in fiscal 2015-16, of which Taka 695 crore was spent by June 2016. The rate of implementation is 99.10 per cent.
Speaking at the meeting, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammad Sayedul Huq directed all concerned to implement projects in a planned way in the new fiscal year. He said full-time project directors would have to be employed in place of part-time project directors as per the guideline of the Prime minister. The project directors must have to stay at their respective work stations and expedite project implementation.
