Militant attacks protested

A human chain was formed on Sadar Road of Barisal city yesterday morning, protesting the recent terrorist attacks in different parts of the country.
The programme was formed under the banner of Sector Commander Forum Muktijoddha-71, Barisal city and district unit, Muktijoddha Sangsad Santan Command.
Later, a protest rally was held which was presided over by Sheikh Kutub Uddin Ahmed at the same point. Freedom fighter Pradip Kumar Ghosh, Kajal Ghosh, Sayed Anisur Rahman, Prof Mohsin-Ul-Islam Habul, addressed the rally, among others. Speakers at the programme demanded ban of Jammat-Shibir politics and said mainly the anti-liberation forces patronized the militants to make an abnormal situation in the country.
Meanwhile, Sangkritik Sanggathan Samannay Parishad, Sikkah Samiti, Udichi and other socio-culture organisations held separate programmes in different part of the city.
