NARAYANGANJ: Police in a drive arrested three boys from Jatramura in Rupganj upazila here on Thursday in connection with the killing of a 10-year old textile mill worker by pumping air into his body through his rectum, reports UNB.
The arrestees were Rakib, 12, Shohel, 13, and Akash, 12, residents of the area, said Superintendent of Police (SP) of the district
Dr Khandaker Mahid Uddin. On July 24, Sagar Barman, son of Ratan Barman of Rajipur village of Kaliajuri upazila of Netrakona district, was killed allegedly by pumping air into his body through his rectum at the textile factory in Rupganj upazila.
Ratan Barman, father of the victim, filed a case against 6-7 unidentified people with Rupganj Police Station on Sunday night in this connection.
