Anti-terrorism meeting held in Manikganj

Anti-terrorism meeting was held at Khaja Rahamat Ali College at Harirampur yesterday. Principal of the College Abdur Rouf presided over the meeting. Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahfuzur Rahman was present in the meeting as chief guest. Additional SP Zakir Hasan, former MP Shamsuddin Ahmed, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Harirumpur Rubina Ferdouse, Vice Chairman, Harirampur Upazila Parisad Abul Bashar and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Harirampur Nazrul Islam spoke on the occasion. The speakers urged teachers, students and guardians to make resistance against terrorism and militancy. They also asked the people to give information of terrorists and militants to law enforcing agencies to take action against the terrorism and militancy. They assured that the secrecy would be maintained for the safety and security of the informers.
