Shahrasti UZ chairman removed

Shahrasti Upazila Parishad Chairman Maulana Abul Hossain has been removed for his alleged involvement in irregularities.
Local government, rural development and cooperatives ministry sent a letter to the deputy commissioner of Chandpur in this regard recently.
The allegations brought against him include holding two posts.
Abul Hossain won the Shahrasti Upazila Parishad Election on March 23, 2014 as a Jamaat-e-Islami candidate.  
Now he is an ameer of Jamaat and enjoyed the post of upazila vice-chairman. He also worked as a lecturer of Arabic at Bholdighi Madrasah in Shahrasti.  
Senior Assistant Secretary of local government, rural development and cooperatives ministry Lutfun Nahar issued show-cause notices to the upazila parishad chairman.
